Taking a brief break from recording her third studio album, Alexandra Burke made an emotionally charged appearance on BBC’s ‘From The Heart’.
Joined by her mother Melissa Bell, the singer relayed how kidney disease (which affects Bell) has impacted their family. The tear-jerking interview was followed by a rousing performance of ‘Can’t Give Up Now’ – a song made popular by Mary Mary. Jazz maestro Jools Holland backed Burke together with a full band.
Watch the songbird soar after the jump…
Stellar. We’re salivating at the prospect of cuts like this on the new project.
pretty
And she hides this power from her albums for what reason??
She better sang it!
Just brilliant Alex, back to your best.
She was better on X Factor. Still great though. She’s just doesn’t seem to be looking to impress anymore… On X Factor she wowed me over and over again. Now she just sings like peeps in church. Where is the clarity she used to have?
