Your thoughts?
Glad that Tamar’s getting acknowledged for her music this time around and congrats to all the nominee’s
I can’t with vince buying nominations.
Congratulations to King Ci on her nominations!
Rihanna doesn’t deserve to win s*** Tamar neither.
i agree with ya first sentence totally
How the hell is Vince buying nominations? She is talented and its her time to shine! Y’all a mess!
I’m guessing Beyonce’s cheque got lost in the mail.
Anyway Tamar Braxton is not a new artist, just so you know.

SOULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TRAIN!!!!!
Shocked Beyonce didn’t buy a nomination this year… Dead at them promoting Tamar as a new artist & yall know Rihanna ain’t winning s***..
Ciara got this.
How can Tamar be nominated for new artist, when she had an album out in 2000. That just does not make any sense. We all know Tamar is talented, but they got to do better, because we are no fools. I will always live for the 90s!
vince forgot that when he paid/.
Breaking news! Rihanan is in Thailand, right now, Filming, ‘ what now ‘/. Her work ethic is insane. This is how she will become a legend. She is on tour, too. how comes Ciara ( who is not tour ) work this hard?
Breaking news : NO ONE GIVES A F***!
yet you replied……
Tamar is NOT a “New Artist” not sure why she is nominated there.
Congrats to Chrisette Michelle, Fantasia, Charlie Wilson and others!
The hive should explain their fav

No Keyshia Cole nomination? But they nominate Tamar? F*** THIS!
Hahahahaha you know better, you reaching.
Keshia just might be done she’s so petty that’s why.
Robin is one handsome man. Yea I said it.
is vince the new matthew knowles???
Why cant people accept that the Tamar album is good and stop talking about buying nominations, although i do agree that she isn’t a new artist .
Fantasia needs an award or two because her album is still fire! Good luck to everyone except Justin Timberlake
Exactly, people like oh Vince bought her cd oh vince bought her nominations WTF! How about the lady is talented & people saw from her reality show that she really wanted it and she delivered a solid cd!
I’m surprised that Rita Ora isn’t there considering that she has roc nation seems to have her everywhere else.
No Rachet Michelle? but Bridget Kelly?
Congrats to Vince for his purchase, I hope it comes with receipts
That Brandy Album deserved a Nomination..
there is Innovation there is good Music and every single song is Killing .. still all the Functions are just Ignoring this “Chef-d’oeuvre” … When You will u Open your Eyes on Music.! the real One..? when.??
Tamar is not a new artist. No one will show up to those awards anyway. Sad that the more successful black artists think they’re above the Soul Train Awards. Good luck to Fantasia and Brandy!!
no ne-yo? Wow
I hope Miguel wins. He is as close to soul in 2013 as it gets.
congrats to Fanny on her best album nod…would be great if the grammys were bold enough to include her in that category this year….easily one of the best albums of the year
Yes Fanny deserves that album of the year win! Her cd was very good from beginning to end!
SOOOOOO overjoyed for Fantasia, JANELLE MONAE, Tamar Braxton and Kelly Rowland! These four ladies have pushed contemporary R&B forward in their own individual ways and I’m glad they’re being recognised
Look out for IF WE HAD YOUR EYES for Best Gospel next year

Congrats to every one! Especially Kelly Rowland, Brandy and Miguel! I see Miguel taking home 3 or more! The New Prince of R&B! Um….KING B didn’t release any material this year or last year. So why would she bey nominated? Yet again, she has these Miserable Pressed Bastards Bothered lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooooo. KING B doesn’t need anymore new nominations or awards. She already have more than anybody in her generation! #KEEP BOWING BISHES
Congratulations Tamar!! Her hard work is paying off. Buying nominations? You people sound VERY stupid. The HATE is thick! First you say she won’t win any awards or grammy’s. Then when she’s nominated, she payed for them? “Her album is going to flop, she’ll barely sale 50k first week blah blah”.. 117k sold & with most being physical copies, with stores sold out everywhere- oh she bought all her albums. Haha! Y’all mad or naw? I guess next she’ll be buying her grammy’s and hell this whole damn music industry. No she isn’t a new artist, but neither is K.Michelle, or TGT. She’s here for the win, so y’all just gone stay mad!!
i love soul train awards because it recognises R&B/ soul artists 🙂 I would give ‘best new artist’ to K Michelle since she is kind of more new the tamar haha.’The Chaka Khan Best R&B/Soul Female Artist’ would have to got to Tamar Braxton, loving her!!! (but I really like Janelle monae heaps as well!!) for me ‘best album; is ‘side effects of you’ by fantasia. the songwriters award probably to ‘queens’ by Janelle because dayyuuummm I love that song, although ‘love and war’ is really good as well and ‘fire we make’. then ummm best dance performance of course ‘QUEEN’ by Janelle and ms Baduh! Best video probably QUeEN as well lol ‘love and war’ is good too. and best collaboration to ‘queen’ or ‘fire we make’. Anywho congrats to tamar, Janelle monae, k michelle, fantasia and Alicia keys. But where is keyshia cole and brandy???
and im sure keri will be getting some nominations next year 😉 just as she did in 2009 (4 nominations, 2 wins), 2010 and 2011 lol cant wait!!!
Get it Ashanti …Always believed in you…BRAVEHEART!
