Certainly a ‘different’ one for the R&B crooner, yet one I’m definitely feeling. Put simply, both the song and video are some of Usher’s most engaging work since ‘Confessions’ (I seem to be among the few who never understood the hype around 08’s ‘Love In This Club’). In any case, Mr Raymond finally appears to be getting his groove back; the timing of which is apt… his new LP ‘Raymond v Raymond’ is days away from release.

I guess I’ve listened to the uncensored version too much that this one kind of threw me off. I like the song, and the video was alright. Interesting little cameos by Ciara and a glimpse of Jamie Foxx. But I wonder if the leading girl really had a ‘ghetto booty’ that Minaj was looking for, lol.

I kinda like this song, it really grew on me! I like Nicki’s verse, though! I think the video is average. Nothing special. The video was weak! The song is hot though. Ciara and Usher should have been dancing together and they should have gotten another girl for Nicki to be with in that scene. This looked like Love In the Club 2.0! Usher has to come harder than this in his music videos especially when the song is hot and his popularity is on the decline.

It’s funny to me because Usher used to sing about love songs and stuff. His last album got a bit too ol school for the kiddies so I believe he and his camp realized that they needed to start putting bullcrap out. The song is catchy, but are you listening to what it’s about. Usher would have never sang this song 5 years ago and I think he is desperate to do it now. Who knows. The video lacks anything. Personally, i love nicki AND always loved Usher. I like the song, but I really do miss his older songs. The ones that had stories behind them (‘confessions’). I dont understand the concept of this video at all. So…he made Nicki go and get that girl and bring her to him…that’s it? Still slightly confused. Once again, LOVE Usher & Nikki, but the video is a thumbs down for me.
