Oh dear. That was pretty appalling, wasn’t it? Lazy and uninspired, the song packs considerably less of a punch than Shaffer’s previous lead singles, and is quite a steep-step down from his usually consistent efforts.
Though kinda cut-throat sounding, it’d indeed be rather frightening if this were a hit; it’s just not worthy. Still, stranger things have happened…

It’s just okay IMO. I think he’s gotten a bit comfortable and proceeds to just put out anything thinking that the public will eat it up. His material for other artists are always notches above his own. I don’t get it at all!
I think it sounds a little better than what I first expected, however I don’t care for it. I just hate that Ne-yo insist on sounding like MJ. He’s not trying to be innovative or clever about how he imitates him either. It’s growing old.

This song is horrendous but I can definitely seeing this being a hit. (see: Ke$ha) It might even grow me on me later. White mainstream is going to eat this up, which is truly tragic.

The song is truly lacking something. I don’t know what it is, but the chorus is boring, the verses aren’t sung correctly, and the bridge is lazy.

The song is just there… It doesn’t jump @ you or anything… It reminds me of a lackluster version of “Closer” (which I loved)… I agree, i think Ne-Yo should go back to mainstream R&B. His last album didn’t really do it for me & neither did this song.
