Before NeNe Leakes leads Bravo’s ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ into a seventh season, ‘Lifetime‘ has announced the launch of a TV series set to be filled with twice as much drama when it kicks off this October.
It’s name? The ‘Prison Wives Club.’
Premiering on October 28th, ‘Prison Wives’ will follow the lives of four women married to men serving time in prison, whose sentences range from ten years…to life.
Where the drama kicks in? The relationships the ladies have with one another, put under pressure when faced to confront their varying views on what being a ‘Prison Wife’ means for them, their incarcerated husbands and the families they left behind.
Of course, it goes without saying that the show’s concept may sound very familiar to any fans of VH1’s ‘Mob Wives‘, which boasts an almost identical theme.
