‘Problem’ performer Ariana Grande has exactly that on her hands as she continues to be embroiled in flames of controversy surrounding a video of her diva-esque behavior in a donut shop where she not only licked a donut she didn’t pay for, but also went on to express her hatred for Americans.
Since the video made its rounds, the songstress issued a written apology and cited her disappointment in the American food industry and the country’s obesity rates as the center of her anger.

As i comment maybe in one article once in a month, i guess you mistake me with somebody else. And this has nothing to do with protecting whites. But mentioning white privilege in this case is just wrong, as it is simply bad behavior a lot of these so called stars have, black and white. It’s a personality issue and not a race issue. Sorry that you got caught. And it’s 22, NOT 12. I’m sick of full damn adults playing the young card. After 18, you’re grown! You had 18 years for mistakes, even then you still have to stuffer the consequences.
Ariana’s impolite and divaesque attitude was brought to the limelight several months ago with parents and children on a Meet & Greet left very disappointed with her behaviour. Rather than address it then and check her behaviour she sent out patronizing messages about “loving the haters”. Even this blog was like “And there you have it!” Rather than assessing what the long term impact would be on her career if she soured relations not only with the media but her young fan base.
Here we are now with footage of her and her boyfriend spreading their germs on unpurchased food and laughing about it, then we see Ariana speak rudely to the staff and express her hatred for America (which sounded more like a throw away comment tbh). The concerning thing is that she hasn’t apologized to the staff or store for her behaviour and it was due to her actions that they lost their hygiene rating receiving the immediate fallout from the unfortunate event. In addition to this her one directional apology to her fans shows she’s more interested in her career than being a decent citizen of society.
Hopefully she’ll learn from this but her enablers and handlers need to take some responsibility because they seem to be overlooking this toxic behaviour for a paycheck.
