Talented and outspoken, Tamar Braxton can now add good sport to her list of characteristics.
Janet Jackson bested her on last week’s album tally when her ‘Unbreakable’ album sold three times as much as Braxton’s latest effort ‘Calling All Lovers.’
However, the youngest of the Braxton clan proved that there were no hard feelings on last night’s ‘Dancing With The Stars.’
For, along with partner Val Chmerkovskiy, the singer recreated Jackson’s iconic ‘Rhythm Nation’ video live on stage.

Great to see Tamar really throwing herself into the the mix of the competition. Granted 8-counts aren’t really her speciality area, it was quite refreshing seeing her tackle such a technical style of dance.

I think you may be overestimating the power of ‘Simple Things’ a tad bit. If ‘Love and War’ didn’t make Tamar a superstar, nothing will. I don’t say that as I negative. I love her but R & B singers are not becoming superstars in 2015, regardless of how talented you are, how great your songs are, and how great your voice is. Not happening.
And ‘Angels and Demons’ is a flawless song. Love Broken Record too.

They supported her when no other blog would and then she blocked them on Twitter after they reported about something she did. I guess they were hurt because they bent over backwards to make her seem like she was popping. It’s no coincidence that her sales look the way they do now they’ve stopped supporting her.

Sorry, although good and the fact that she got 10’s i didn’t think that it was that sharp in deliverance.
I’m glad to see her dancing an will maybe use some of these moves to give a rhumba/sSalsa inspired video for must be good to you which is still my favourite track
But you have to realize she’s not technically a dancer to begin with, so to do do a cover of Rhythm Nation & actually pull it off with a decent delivery is pretty damn good.

Janet’s “Rhythm Nation 1814” is one of the best pop records all of time, a very diverse, yet cohesive album, forget “Born this Way”, “1989” and “Teenage Dream”, pop stars used to be great, the new generation makes pop music sound like cartoon theme songs.

She was a count or two slower, but everyne was in sync and that’s the only way you’re going to come close to a Janet performance. SOMEONE at the BET Awards was off beat, throwing the whole show off.

I will go as far to say Janet has the BEST discography in pop music. From Control to All For You. Even Jo and Discipline were good. 20YO theme was a celebration and her having fun. Janet was the first to be able to jump across genres with ease.
