#KatyCats rejoice! Your chart-topping leader, Katy Perry, has officially (and finally) announced the title and release date of her new album.
As if that’s not enough to send her fans into a frenzy, the pop star also unveiled a slew of tour dates to support the project.
Details inside:
Announced today, the new album – titled ‘Witness’ – will hit shelves on June 9, courtesy of Capitol Records. Featuring the Billboard Hot 100 top 5 hit, “Chained to the Rhythm” featuring Skip Marley, and its follow-up single, “Bon Appétit” featuring rap group Migos, ‘Witness’ will come as the successor to 2013’s chart-topping, ‘Prism.’
In addition to a number of television promotional appearances to build awareness about the set (which to date has admittedly had little buzz), Perry’s announced a full on arena tour to support.

.
LMAO someone is afraid to flop hard???
That should Be illegal how is she going to make money?
well, tickets will just cost $12 more than usual.
Or maybe someone wants their music to be HEARD.
$ comes in touring and not in album sales.
It will flop like this new Layout……. Bye Samantha
You have the option to get the album. So that’s ok.
It’s gonna flop.
BIONIC ERA …
So no one is going to mention how ugly this cover is? Like why? This looks so cheap which is surprising because Katy visuals are ALWAYS very high end and expensive looking.
More like Witless. Or Hitless.
I love her makeup in that image. Very 80s.
