Despite only having 3 #1 singles to his name (one as a lead artist), ‘Views’ rapper Drake has enjoyed the view from various points on the Billboard Hot 100. A record breaking artist who’s seen entire albums simultaneously chart on the tally, it should come as no surprise the hip hop hitmaker has seen his name recently penciled in history books for yet another milestone achievement.
Tuck in below to see what it is & see this week’s refreshed TGJ Chart Check: Hot 100:
As we reported here, Drake has had more charting songs than any other artist in history. Now, he can lay claim to another Billboard-shattering record: the longest stay on the Hot 100 in history. His breakout single, ‘Best I Ever Had,’ first charted in May 2009. Since then, not one single day, week, month, or year has gone by where a song led by or featuring the rapper has not been on the chart. He is the first act to ever achieve such a feat.
To put that into perspective, the last 420+ weeks have seen his name somewhere between 1-100.

I’m over Aubrey Pop-Rap tracks…??♂️
Charting in this day and age means absolutely NOTHING. Artists are allowed to chart with the combination of all other facets irrelevant to the quality of just PURE, DESERVING, HARD ALBUM SALES. Artists Like Drake would NEVER have these frivolous accomplishments under their belts in the days of 1980-1999.
why rnt his peers doing the same of its soo easy, it’s easier to chart then decades ago but what he has achieved is no easy task.
Overrated bottom.
Drake is still hot…Im waiting for Lil Wayne
