Bruno Mars’ monumental sales and Beyonce‘s publishing prowess have spelled glory for Warner Music who has seen its revenue rocket by 13% in the third quarter of this year.
Digital revenue accounted for 58% of the $770 million the company prised from the public’s pocket with help from Bruno Mars’ discography and releases by Clean Bandit, Ed Sheeran and Gorillaz.
On a publishing tip, the company’s lucrative arrangements with Beyonce and MNEK helped lift its digits by 11.9% with an operating income of $6 million!
CEO Steve Cooper was elated to release the following statement:
