Iggy Azalea has consistently proven herself to be the music industry’s ‘little engine that could.’
Beyond powering through the cancellation of her first headlining tour, the ridicule of Rap elite, scrapping her sophomore album due to the nonperformance of its singles, a label change, financial woes, public relationship battles, and later wielding claims of sabotage against her current label’s parent company (click here to read on that), the Grammy-nominee has weathered a number of documented storms.
All of that hard work is seeming to pay off if a glance at the refreshed singles chart is to judge by. For, after her long-awaited EP – ‘Surviving the Summer’ – failed to launch a charting single despite multiple attempts, its latest lift – ‘Kream’ – appears to be just what the doctor ordered.
Curious to see how the Tyga-assisted tune (her first charting single since 2016’s ‘Team’) is faring? Look inside and see who made the top 25 on this week’s TGJ Chart Check: Hot 100 edition:
Hot 100 This Week
Azalea recently took to social media to celebrate the success:

We hope it’s only up from here!
I guess it’s great to celebrate the slightest milestones. (#96 should give anyone reason to smile right??)
I mean Nicki’s singles are wading in the water down there too and you’re celebrating her so of course. Any accomplishment is something right?
Nicki’s song debuted in the Top 10. Let’s not.
@Jasmine.. – As someone else mentioned, Nicki debuted in the top 10 and yes her accomplishments are to be noted since she’s constantly doing well. In regards to THIS post, it’s about Iggy. Leave it to a Nicki HATER to mention her on someone else’s post. I guess you really ARE a fan of the Queen.
#Stay Bowed
I’m screaming. Don’t do that man. She’s trying
The song is LIT so it’s deserving.
Its def a club banger. I’m rooting for her on this joint.
Yaaas! ??
Listen life served Iggy a huge slice of humble pie. She ate it, seems humble and grateful. She got my coins. You can’t say she haven’t kept trying. I applaud her. I see it doing better next week. It’s room for every female rapper. I love the diversity and options in having multiple people instead of one female rapper.
And she truly deserves it, imo. She always puts a lot of effort in her work. Her visuals are always on point (unlike others, who just film themselves while looking good) and her songs are good as well. Actually the reason why she hasn’t charted for two years is def not the songs, cause the s*** she put out has been better than a lot of other stuff. Hopefully the hate train is gone now
This better than anything nicky Minaj has released in years!
Sure, but Nicki is not releasing a lot of good stuff anyways. Nicki is truly what is wrong with these days. She is hyped as a legend that she really isn’t, but she believes it. Her weird fans eat the s*** she puts out though it‘s not good. And for that reason she doesn’t feel the need to put any effort in her output. Her music is subpar, her videos are boring (Chun-li was an interesting video, I give her that) and she thinks she is the second coming
@XYZ – Nicki has NEVER come across as thinking of herself as the second coming of Christ you may want to direct that comment to your favorite blonde wig wearing bootie shaking redundant idol.
Nicki does well it’s that YOU people constantly have something negative to say because she isn’t doing what YOU want her to do. She can only be HER and if she were to be someone else you’d be the first person to say she is being LIKE this person or that so just suck a fatty and lull yourself back to sleep.
My BOP
what does it mean “the riducle of rap elite”?! by the way she has always worked hard , even when people (even this site) trashed her for no reason ! i hope she get big hits from now on!unlike azealia banks (who seems like you LOVE)she apologized and focused on her music …and you should give her more credit! instead of talking about azealia banks , her “talent” and her fights
I’m happy for her. The song is lit…i hope it keeps climbing
I’m not not mad because she deserves to get her just DO!!
So #96 is cause for celebration now?
LMFAO.
Kim is my favorite and mama haven’t even seen #96 in a long time. Nor has Dreamdoll, Kash, Malibu, or any new chick who has put music out. No shade but I can’t evfn recall Remy number on chart for her wake me up single. Let’s stop tearing these ladies down and instead help them by streaming their music since you guys obviously ain’t buying them anymore.
Some of your favorites have never been on the Billboard anything, so #96 is not bad. Give credit where it’s due.
@Beam… – So remember that when OTHERS barely crack the top 100 or drop down lower on the top 100 on Billboard ok fam’?
#Thanks!
#When It’s Convenient
Exactly out of all the female rap singles released this year Trina,Rem,Missy, Kim non of them charted. Let’s help them start charting again. And for the ones that do if y’all help them that will help the other girls.
Trina and missy released something? Damn, people are not even reporting bout it. I have actually relied on this site for music news
Hell has frozen over.
Iggy azealia charted on the hot 100…meanwhile Christina’s album fell off the charts in TWO weeks and not even one single charted. What is going on?!
