August 17th marks the spot for the Apple Music release much to the delight of the chart-owning singer/songwriter and movie maker Murray Cummings who is also the star’s cousin.

I wasn’t going to show fame. I didn’t want paparazzi, screaming fans or big stadiums. I didn’t want to have sit down interviews because I didn’t want to tell the audience how something came to be, I just wanted to show them. And I wanted the focus to be the songwriting.

The project follows Ed’s journey as he built his album ‘Divide’ and the changes in his life which inspired its production, lyrics and the campaign he built to carry it to chart glory.

Its name? ‘Songwriter.’
We look forward to seeing it.
