‘The Lion King’ is off to a roaring start! And that’s before its July 19th arrival.
Easily one of the year’s most anticipated movies, the live action-remake of the Disney classic saw pre-sale tickets go on-sale in the US yesterday and they are being snapped up at a feverish rate.

Per Deadline, the flick’s first 24 hours of pre-release ticket sales has drummed up the second best first-day sale of the year for Fandango (bested only by ‘Avengers: Endgame’).
Additionally, the performance represents the best first-day pre-sales for a Disney film outside of the ‘Star Wars’ or Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Elsewhere Atom Tickets revealed it’s the company’s best first-day sales for a family movie.
Needless to say, ‘The Lion King’ – which stars Donald Glover, Beyonce, and more – is shaping up to be huge!

Lion King is a cultural classic that has established an already built in audience.
a total UNKNOWN could be voicing the characters & singing the soundtrack’s signature ballads. The sales for this DISNEY FAVORITE would look the same.
