Last night saw Ciara set sail on the ‘Beauty Marks Tour’ and she brought a bevy of hits with her.
Super Ci kicked off the US trek at the Washington State Fair and did not disappoint.
Backed by an army of dancers, the performer blazed through fan favorites such as ‘Level Up,’ ‘Goodies,’ and ‘1, 2 Step,’ and newer numbers such as ‘Dose.’
The tour, which has been mounted in support of the singer’s ‘Beauty Marks’ album, will feature stops in the likes of Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta, before wrapping up in Chicago next month.

Lets not lie on Ciara’s name at the sake of trying to be positive. It was not positive and tickets were only $11 dollars to see everyone at the state fair. Im seeing her on 9/17 in LA and im excited. Not many artists are still performing this far into their careers so congrats Ciara. I dis not watch the videos because i want to be surprised when i see her in concert. As for the “haters”, they are entitled to their opinions but i think they are coveted Ciara fans because why else are they checking for her in the first place?
What lie? I don’t care how much the tickets was I’ve seen other prices for her concert tour that were more higher the point is the tickets were still bought and this is the second soldout show from this tour regardless of price for the tickets and of course her haters can have all the opinions about her as they want so her true fans can rightfully drag and defend her as well.
I agree Ciara fans should defend her BUT…you lie when you say she sold out. That simply is not true. The 11 dollar price is to see ALL performers not just Ciara and there were plenty of tickets left which means the fair did not sell out!
I have no clue on what other performers their was other than Ciara and Sir mix a lot all I know is this is apart of her tour and the proof of receipts from it being soldout is all on twitter first show to sell out was in Atlanta and that one hasn’t started yet.
We clearly have different definitions of what the term ‘sold out’ means. You use twitter as your ‘receipt’ but I use ticketmaster as my receipt and ticketmaster clearly shows none of her concerts are ‘sold out’. The term ‘sold out’ means all seats have been sold! When ticketmaster still has lots of seats available for purchase then the show is not ‘sold out’!

Your looking at different dates on Ticketmaster that hasn’t started im talking about this specific show from lastnight that was for sure soldout and now that I see what you mean on the Atlanta show it’s still some seats left but she said it was soldout so idk whats going on with that one.

She’s not in the music game for what she once dreamt of when she first came in. I honestly don’t know what her move is now. But she definitely made it well known that she wanted to be THAT TOP GIRL when she came on the scene. Now it just seems like she’s just doing stuff. Smh.
Its all about spots. When she first came on the scene she was supposed to be the new Janet Jackson and she had her own signature sound (Crunk & R&B). She had some good hits on her first 2 albums and then when she just entered her prime…she decided she wanted to leave her spot as Queen of Crunk & R&B and chase after pop crossover instead of realizing she already crossed over with her signature sound. There was no spot for her in pop. Album after album was her trying to be pop and all the while she lost much of her fanbase. The problem with Ciara is she wants to do the music she wants to do (pop) instead of what the audience wants her to do (Perform Goodies and Ride and revealing outfits). She is too young to be so set in her ways and too old to be doing songs like ‘Thinking About You’. She should know by now there is no audience for her doing a song like that.
Yes! So true! Because I know I kept hoping she gets it right. But I do think she got the ball back on her self titled album… sound wise. After that….. she dropped it again.
The strange thing is every time she does a crunk & r&b song the consumer reception is great! I dont know why she runs from it. Her last one was Ride in 2008 and if it was not for the video being banned for being too explicit the song would have been a huge hit but even on its own it was certainly a hit. Its like her voice is the perfect fit for that kind of music. One might ask if crunk is dead but i say it certainly is not especially down south. If i were her manager i would have her do crunk-trap-r&b type music because she has the right voice for it and nobody else is doing that kind of music so she got a spot.
