Andrew Gillum shared his truth this morning on the season 2 premiere of the Tamron Hall Show.
As reported, the police discovered former candidate for Florida governor in an “inebriated” state in a Miami hotel…where crystal meth was found alongside another man believed to have almost overdosed.
The chain of events, the company he was found with, as well as the aftermath immediately generated questions about the sexuality of the married father of four.
Now, after going to therapy, Gillum has opened up about the entire scandal in a candid sit-down with Hall. A sit-down that saw him share that while he doesn’t identify as gay, he is indeed bisexual.

As noted activist Clay Cane shared above, Gillum noted that he didn’t give consent for what transpired in the room.
Elsewhere in the interview, his wife also shared her views on the matter and their relationship on a broader scale.

That being said, bisexual men EXIST. I know that it is a hard thing for GAY and STRAIGHT people to wrap their head around (as you can see in above comments, mainly from other gays) but as I’ve said before on this blog, we are out here. I do not agree with Andrew when he says he’s not gay, because I do consider bisexuality a part of the gay community. But I know from personal experience, many of us end up in heterosexual relationships and having kids at the end of the day, which I am pretty sure will happen to me as well. For me it is hard to develop a long lasting relationship with a man if it is not centered around s**, and for women I have had more fulfilling and meaningful relationships. But that is just my experience, I cannot speak for others. But some of my best friends are bisexual, but you would never know it unless you got close to them. Hopefully more men will not be ashamed to speak up about their real sexuality in the future and the stigma will one day disappear. Because now, if you identify as it, you get drug for not speaking your truth. It is what it is.
