Eva Longoria found herself out of favor with some corners of the internet this week, following an interview on MSNBC.
As reported, the ‘Desperate Housewives’ actress appeared to downplay the importance of the Black vote in delivering Joe Biden and Kamala Harris their historic win in the US presidential election in her spotlighting of the Latin impact.
Shortly after, she apologised.
And now she returned to MSNBC, this time on The Reid Out to re-affirm her apology and spotlight how crucial the Black vote was.
Join us below…
Speaking on the show, Longoria said:
“In my effort to celebrate Latina turnout, I diminished the importance of the Black women’s vote in this election. And what I said was wrong.
It is a fact that African American women showed up in record numbers and brought us to victory. They saved this country.”

Well said.
SO SICK OF THESE HISPANICS. THIS WHOLE DAM COUNTRY BUILT OF THE SWEAT AND TEARS OF BL FOLK. B YOU AND YOUR KIND RIDEING FREE OF OUR BACKS. BUILD THE WALL.
Don’t you mean Native American Indians? Black folk what a joke.
@Clarkbum, it’s like your mind is stuck on a floor 😂
The exit polls show that 90% of black women voted for Biden, while 69% of Latinas chose Biden, so apparently Eva created her own facts to make Latin women stand out as being more worthy than black women in terms of making this country better, and the implications of that falsehood are incredibly damaging.
ACTUALLY her initial statement said nothing about black women at all. She said Latinas voted in record numbers in this election AND THAT’S A FACT. My Hispanic family have never cared to vote in an election before and they called me more than anyone else to talk about voting for Biden. Black bïtches (and I say this as a black person myself) BLACK BÏTCHES love to take someone’s words and misconstrue them to make it seem like somebody is talking ISH. Drama queens, sensitive ässes. It’s so annoying
Amen sister.
@Clarktrash, your elevator doesn’t go up ⬆️ 😂
shuuuut da fk up. With your sick and trashy ass. Fck off and die. Your racist kind just needs to leave this earth already. You need to get hit by a bus or train. Or crushed by a window that falls from the top floor of a skyscraper. You’re disgusting.
My comment is directed to Bettie C.
