The cameras are officially rolling on ABC‘s new music drama ‘Queens.’
As reported, the series – which stars Brandy, Eve, and a host of familiar names – centers on a group of female friends.
Once at the top of the charts as members of the Hip-Hop group the Nasty Btiches, viewers meet the ladies in their 40s – each with lives much less glamorous than in their heyday.
An opportunity arises for the band to regroup and reclaim their musical shine. But to do so, they’re tasked with juggling their anticipated comeback with new realities in their friendship and personal lives more broadly.
There’s no word yet on the premiere frame.

Just because people don’t have the same level of perceived “success” they did at their commercial peak doesn’t mean you can label them as old flops – and it certainly doesn’t make them any more or less successful. Who are you comparing them to exactly? Dish out some names. These are highly successful people who have had big careers in the respective fields for a long long time. And are still in the said careers. And still making new content. Brandy in particular is going back three decades now. How long have you have held down your job for? That’s what you need to be more worried about.
