I know it will colourful. That’s one of the themes of LOUD. It depends. I mean it’s a ballad and all her previous singles have been uptempo. I have a feeling it will hit #1 as it can appeal to many different audiences.

I don’t mind them, as long as the artist fully promotes each as if they were being released singularly. It’s just annoying when one gets attention and the other doesn’t (not by the public, but by the label and artist). Yes, MD will be released to urban, and CKB to pop, but both have crossover appeal (CKB to AC and Country, and MD to pop).

Why do you keep mentioning drag queens? I haven’t seen any from the MD shoot. Anyways, I kind of disagree with you. Just to run through her videography, the MOTS videos were okay (cute and age-appropriate), the AGLM videos showed improvement, and then the GGGB and Rated R videos were amazing. The OG (ITW) video was good, but kind of underwhelming, while I thought the WMN? video was a snoozefest. Her outfit was cute, but otherwise it was dull. I liked how cute she and Drake were in it, though. I LOVED the “S&M” video to death, so hopefully this and the CKB video are great.
The OG (ITW) and WMN? videos have definitely grown on me, though.

“Raining Men” wasn’t an official single but only a mere radio single, and the “S&M” Remix isn’t included on the actual record itself. Therefore, this is 5 singles out of 11 tracks. But it’s extremely ironic of you to say that she’s releasing half of her album as singles when Beyonce released more than half with IASF and B’Day.
By the way, Rihanna is hard at work on new material, but more signs point to a new album than a re-release. If there is a new album, it will be released either late this year or early next. She may release more singles from Loud after MD and CKB, though.

The GGGB era’s videos were great visually, but everything about the Rated R videos were perfect. The Loud videos have been okay, but I agree that the fun of this whole era is awesome.

I don’t think so. I mean, the album wasn’t critically popular, or popular singles wise. Fearless was an amazing era for her. That album changed where Country stood in mainstream music. She at least deserved ONE Grammy for that album, do I understood why she one some.

i agree with you but its not part of a musicians job to releae videos, photoshoots etc. Music is music, when you buy an artist album your buying it for the music not the promo. having said that for artist like Beyonce, Rihanna and Lady Gaga i think promos arnt even promos. I think they enjoy making videos and see it as part as their craft, part of their art. I think the fans tend to recirprocate that, they ( i kno i do) enjoy seeing artist create themes/events for their albums, hence why so many people use the word £”era” now days. I LOVE those songs! Especially Cosmic Journey! That’s my s***! I pretty much like every song on her album though. And you’re right about her voice. It’s definitely not strong at all. She’s a very “House Of Blues” type singer rather than an arena/stadium singer like her sister. Their lead vocals are very different but them background vocals and harmonies? Child…freakishly similar!
