During a promotional stop for his upcoming album – ‘Breezy’ – he stopped by Big Boy in the Neighborhood and did not hold back. When asked about the comparisons, he said: “That’s cap.”
The ‘No Guidance’ singer was then asked about how he deals with the conversations regarding the topic, he said: “I stay the h*ll up out of it. I’ma keep it a hundred. I kinda back off it.”
However, Brown did go on to compliment the ‘Billie Jean’ singer, saying that he will never compare. “My personal take on it is I wouldn’t even be breathing or even be able to sing a song if that man didn’t exist. I don’t know if they look at it as a Jordan-Kobe thing, but I couldn’t even look at it. He’s light years ahead. There is no competing with him.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Brown revealed that he recorded almost 250 songs for his ‘Breezy’ album, which arrives June24.
