Per The Sun, Xtina – who is earning rave reviews for her Spanish language LP ‘Aguilera’ – is readying a new Pop record with a “dancey commercial sound.”
A source told the publication:
“It’s early days but Christina is back working on new music.
She really enjoyed trying something different with ‘Aguilera’ which was a real passion project for her, but she is ready to go back to her Pop roots.
At the moment she is experimenting with sounds but it’s likely to be the dancey commercial sound with big vocals that fans love her for.”
Earlier this week at her show in Liverpool, the songbird reportedly teased that the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Liberation’ is “coming.”

Our hope, more than anything, is for heightened visibility.
Can we get an all-out era? Performances aplenty, with savvy collabs, and multiple music videos. It’s no secret that touring is most artists’ end-game (especially seasoned acts like Ms. Aguilera). However, she has much more mileage in the tank; as such is well-positioned to swing hard with a full era and still press forward with an inevitable tour.
