Speaking with E! News, the Vocal Bible was quizzed about the follow-up to 2020’s ‘B7’ and said:
“Fans are going to be shocked to know what I have up my sleeve. It’s not the typical regular R&B Brandy album, I’ll just say that.”
Elsewhere, she was asked about signing with Motown Records (who will be releasing as yet untitled LP. A beaming B-Rocka said on joining the iconic imprint’s roster:
“It’s the label that you always wanted to be signed to and wanted to feel that magic. So to get the opportunity to be with [CEO] Ethiopia [Habtemariam] and the Motown family is amazing.”
As for who she wants to work with, Brandy gushed:
“So many people! And that’s kind of the surprise, so I can’t really get in too deep.”
We’re all sorts of ready!
The GRAMMY winner also revealed her daughter Sy’Rai Smith‘s has music on the way too:
“Her music is fire! And I’ve just been listening to that and trying to help her decide what songs she should come out with.”
