Taking to press, Billboard unveiled the list of the top 10 albums in the country this week. On it, Nas’ latest effort – ‘King’s Disease 3’ – makes an appearance at #10 with 29,000 equivalent album units earned.
However, with his album debuting within the chart’s top 10, he has matched a major record set by Jay-Z. Nas now ties Hova as the rap artist with the most top 10s on the Billboard 200 chart, each has 16.
‘King’s Disease 3′ is Nas’ most recent studio effort and follows the release of ‘King’s Disease’ and ‘King’s Disease 2,’ both of which also landed in the chart’s top 10 region.
Among all acts, The Rolling Stones lead with a total of 37 top 10 albums, followed by Barbra Streisand with 34.
