Just weeks after a group of Taylor Swift fans (affectionately called #Swifties) made headlines for suing Ticketmaster for its reported mishandling of ticket sales for the diva’s forthcoming ‘Eras‘ stadium tour (as we reported here), other members of the devoted fan group are following suit with their own lawsuit.

Despite multiple apologies from the company, it not only found itself sued by would-be concertgoers and earning jeers from Taylor herself, but it also became the center of a federal government probe launched to investigate accusations of price fixing, price gouging, fraud, and antitrust violations.

As revealed by a separate class action lawsuit filed Tuesday (December 20), another group of 26 angry Swifties doubled down on previous allegations Ticketmaster violated antitrust laws, engaged in fraud, and practiced price fixing.  What’s more, the new suit also accuses the ticketing organization of participating in anticompetitive and misleading conduct.

“Ticketmaster intentionally and purposefully misled millions of fans into believing it would prevent bots and scalpers from participating in the presales,” the lawsuit says. “However, millions of fans were unable to purchase tickets during the TaylorSwiftTix Presale and the Capital One Presale, due in large part to unprecedented website traffic caused by Ticketmaster allowing 14 million unverified Ticketmaster users and a ‘staggering’ number of bots to participate in the presales.”

Other accusations include false advertising and “intentional misrepresentation.” Plaintiffs are seeking a fine of $2,500 per violation as well as coverage of the legal fees they’ve incurred.

As of time reported Ticketmaster has not issued a statement regarding the second #Swiftie suit.
