Rihanna‘s seismic Super Bowl Halftime Show proves itself the gift that keeps on giving.
As if earning praise aplenty from her celebrity peers, diehard fans (affectionately called #theNavy), and others wasn’t enough to celebrate, review of the updated Billboard charts saw her catalog of hits tackle and takedown some of today’s leading smashes.
The 13-minute showcase at the State Farm Stadium (February 12) has led to the best streaming week of her career thanks to reignited interest – a win reflected on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 (to historic measure).

In the 77-year history of album charts only seven acts have placed at least five projects in the top 50: Taylor Swift, Mac Miller, Prince, the ‘Glee‘ cast, Garth Brooks, Whitney Houston, and now, Rihanna. Uniquely, Houston is the first female act to chart 8 titles on the chart simultaneously.
The latest to join the exclusive club, the current Billboard 200 shows the Bajan diva printed five times with ‘Anti‘ (No. 8), ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ (No. 15), ‘Unapologetic’ (No. 18), ‘Loud‘ (No. 26), and ‘Talk That Talk’ (No. 49)
It’s also worth noting that the surge of 2016’s ‘Anti,’ Rih’s last studio album,’ pushed it to its 355th week of charting – extending its reign as the longest-running R&B/hip-hop album by a woman yet.
