While Greta Gerwig’s long-awaited ‘Barbie‘ movie could easily be ranked as the year’s most highly anticipated film, its star-studded soundtrack could claim the title of one of music’s most eagerly awaited offerings.
Boasting a who’s who of names lining its tracklist, the project was kicked off by the Hot 100 top 40 hit ‘Dance the Night‘ (Dua Lipa) and later rocked charts with its Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice-led single, ‘Barbie World.’ The commercial performance of the latter was a history-making affair for its lead performer.
As if those names aren’t enough to get tongues wagging by themselves, ‘Barbie: the Album’ features GRAMMY-winning superstars Lizzo, Sam Smith, Karol G, Billie Eilish, and many more.
Before moviegoers rush to theaters to catch Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Issa Rae, Simu Liu, Michael Cera, Kate McKinnon, John Cena, and others in the ‘Barbie’ flick, they can stream its official companion inside courtesy of Apple Music and Spotify.
I think Dua and Khalid have the best songs on the album.
Cardi and Latto HATE they didn’t get a call back for this soundtrack LOL 😂 or an invite to the Pink Carpet event. Sorry DUDS 💩
