Watch: Backstage With J. Cole

Published: Friday 16th Sep 2011 by Rashad

One of rap’s leading freshmen J. Cole is certainly making his promo rounds in preparation for his debut LP ‘Cole World: A Sideline Story’.  According to Billboard, the rising rapper is dropping footage everyday until September 20th to count down the release of the aforementioned album.

With his Trey Songz-assisted, soon-to-be hit ‘Can’t Get Enough’ already making a splash on radio and debuting its accompanying visual this week, fans who really ‘can’t get enough’ of Cole have been invited to join him backstage in his latest footage drop.

He still reminds me of Drake. I havent a song from him since Who Dat came out, and that some was basic. He seems fresh, so I’ll check out more of his material

J Cole is nothing like Drake, comparing Drake and J Cole is like comparing Ja Rule to Pac. Drake is a borderline female who is a simp and emo, J Cole is much more gritty and about real stuff like (struggle, aspiration, etc). The only J Cole and Drake have in common is skin complexion.

As for J Cole i have a feeling he will drop the best album this year, and make some music these dudes ain’t making, music reflecting peoples plight in these days and time.
