Britney Spears has reportedly become the latest superstar to sell their music catalog.
Full story below…
According to TMZ, the Pop icon has sold the rights to her lucrative music catalog for a seismic sum.
The buyer? Primary Wave.
As of writing, the exact figure has not been disclosed. However, it’s being touted as a “landmark” deal and residing in the remit of the $200 Million pact Justin Bieber recently inked for his catalog.
Interestingly, while news of the deal has only just hit the wire, word is that Spears signed on the dotted line back on December 30.
In selling, the 44-year-old parts ways with the rights to hits such as ‘Baby One More Time,’ ‘Womanizer,’ ‘(You Drive Me) Crazy,’ ‘Oops!..I Did It Again,’ ‘Circus,’ and ‘I’m a Slave 4 U.’
This new chapter in Spears’ story comes as she continues to lay low after being emancipated from the conservatorship that governed her personal and professional life for over a decade. It also follows her announcement that she intends to never perform in the US again.

All I gotta say is good for her! She worked hard and should be compensated accordingly for her life’s work.
Also her catalog should be worth more than Justin Biebers, just saying. She has way more hits and iconic tracks.
She will always be the Princess of Pop, no new pop girl has ever come close to her legacy.
