The media maven found her name at the center of unsubstantiated rumors that she had passed away.

As can often (and unfortunately) be the case, the news spread like wildfire on social media.

Taking to Instagram, the 55-year-old

“Good morning. It’s me, Latifah, I’m 100 percent A-OK.”

She went on to add:

 “Can’t believe what you read on the internet or see. Can’t believe nothing now, right? I’m good. Peace.”
