During the bond hearing, prosecutors pushed for Starr’s continued detention, while the alleged victim’s mother delivered an emotional statement about the impact the alleged incident has had on her son and their family.
The defense argued that Starr should be released, pointing to her ties to Georgia, lack of prior criminal history, and character. Investigators also shared details of Starr’s account to police, including her claim that the minor told her he was 18.
Despite acknowledging Starr’s clean criminal record, the judge ultimately declined to grant bond.
Starr remains in custody as the case moves forward. The allegations against her have not been proven in court.

I can already tell that they’re going to apply the full weight of the legal system on her neck.
