Jodeci are taking it back to where it all began.
The R&B legends are celebrating 35 years since the release of their blockbuster debut album, ‘Forever My Lady,’ with a mammoth anniversary tour across the US.
And, fittingly, the group is promising a show centered on the songs and sound that helped reshape R&B.

K-Ci, JoJo, Mr. Dalvin, and DeVante Swing will kick off the celebratory trek on October 24 at The Masonic in San Francisco before making their way through Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Houston, New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta, and more.
The trek comes after Jodeci returned to London’s O2 this summer alongside TLC and Blackstreet and continues a busy live chapter for the influential quartet.
Released in 1991, ‘Forever My Lady’ topped the Billboard R&B Albums chart and spawned classics including its title track, ‘Come & Talk To Me,’ and ‘Stay.’ The album has since been certified 3x Platinum.
An expanded vinyl edition of the project was also released in July, complete with bonus material and a previously unheard a cappella version of ‘Stay.’
Reflecting on the milestone, K-Ci Hailey and Mr. Dalvin said:
“Thirty-five years ago, ‘Forever My Lady’ changed our lives. The love and connection we share with our fans is unmatched and this tour is for them, the people who stood by us from day one. Get ready, we’re going to leave everything on the stage for you.”
The tour follows previous road runs that have seen the group unite with fellow R&B royals, including SWV and Dru Hill on the ‘Summer Block Party Tour’.
