Mis-Teeq‘s comeback has taken a truly ‘Scandalous’ turn.

Just hours after news broke that the group had split again, Su-Elise Nash says the announcement came as a surprise to her.

Indeed, while Sabrina Washington‘s camp declared that the trio had called time on their reunion, Nash says she believed major 2027 opportunities involving Washington and Alesha Dixon were still being considered.

The earlier release, issued in tandem with Washington’s solo tour announcement, stated that the ladies had “decided not to continue with further Mis-Teeq dates” following their sold-out OVO Arena Wembley concert.

However, Nash has now shared a screenshot of the announcement and publicly challenged the suggestion that the group’s future had already been decided.

She wrote in full:

As far as I was aware, today was our deadline to make a decision on some incredible Mis-Teeq offers for 2027… including headlining a major UK festival, performing at another huge UK festival and potentially taking the show regional for everyone who couldn’t make Wembley. After the incredible response to our sold-out Wembley Arena show, I genuinely believed these were opportunities we were all excited about and hopefully saying YES to today as Mis-Teeq! So to find out that a press release went out to media today saying ‘Mis-Teeq have split’ has taken me by surprise. That’s news to me… 🤷🏽‍♀️ Either way, I’m incredibly proud of what we achieved at Wembley and so grateful to everyone who came out and supported us. 💜

The revelation dramatically changes the complexion of the split. At minimum, Nash says she had neither agreed to nor been informed of the public announcement and believed multiple Mis-Teeq offers remained active.

It is an especially striking turn after the trio spoke to That Grape Juice about extending their comeback just months ago.

As of writing, Washington and Dixon have yet to publicly comment.
