There really seems to be no stopping tour de force Luke James.
The budding Def Jam star, who we can EXCLUSIVELY reveal has signed on as the face of Diddy’s Sean John, already counts the likes of Beyonce and Kelly Rowland as fans. And having brought the First Lady, Mrs Obama, to her feet at the 2012 BET Honors, the powerhouse served up another emotionally-charged performance of current single ‘I Want You’ on VH1’s Morning Buzz recently.

Wholly refreshing! It’s been entirely too long since a prominent male vocalist actually lived up to that billing; and with James having logged in studio time with the few others who do (see: John Legend and R. Kelly), we can’t but salivate at the prospect of what his album will serve up. It needs to hurry already!

He’s amazing. I fell in love with him him the first time I heard this song last year. His voice is out of this world and shitting on every male R&B (and pop) artist out right now. Of course he has a lot of developing and to do, but thats the case with any new artist. But theres no denying his talent. His EP #LUKE is amazing as well.
Here’s hoping he doesnt disappoint me in the long run of his career like Trey Songz has done me, cuz I was a huge fan of Trey when “I Gotta Make It” debuted, and witht he course of things, he fell off my radar lol.

In the same way that Alicia Keys did 10 years ago, Adele has brought retro soul/pop to mainstream radio, and this guy should be riding that wave.
