As H.E.R. fans wait for the Oscar & GRAMMY-winning diva to serve her official debut album, ‘Back of My Mind,’ the 23-year-old is keeping them satiated with a host of features and contributions to soundtracks.

After winning critical acclaim and a few shiny trophies for ‘Fight For You,’ her addition to the ‘Judas & the Black Messiah’ soundtrack, she teamed with Christian music star Tauren Wells for the ‘Hope mix’ of ‘Hold Us Together’ (found aboard the soundtrack to Disney+’s ‘Safety’).

Now, she can be found on the soundtrack for the forthcoming Netflix venture titled ‘We the People.’  Described as a “series of ten animated music videos [that brings] musicians and directors together to remix civics for a new generation,” H.E.R. delivered new song ‘Change’ as the effort’s official song.

Yo Gotti teams with DaBaby for his new single, ‘Drop’ – the twerk anthem of the summer.

Produced by J. White Did It, the song surfaces just days after Gotti unveiled news about his new deal with Interscope Records.

It’s pretty safe to say Olivia Rodrigo broke Billboard this week.

Thanks to her inaugural LP, ‘Sour,’ the 18-year-old entered the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 with the most record-setting set of accomplishments in modern chart history.

As we previously reported, Rodrigo reigns over this week’s Billboard 200 with the biggest sales week of the year thanks to  ‘Sour’ – the first debut album in history to premiere atop the tally after two songs from its tracklist premiered atop the Hot 100.  What’s more, the effort owns the largest sales week for any act’s debut charting effort since Billboard switched its sales metrics to include streaming.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg.

DMX‘s final album ‘Exodus’ has been unleashed to rapturous applause.

The rapper completed much of his lyrical contribution to the LP prior to his death on April 9 and, after the tragedy, the baton was taken on by his longtime friend and collaborator Swizz Beatz.

Serving as the late, great lyricist’s first LP since 2012’s ‘Undisputed’, the set benefits from elite guest features – including JAY-Z, Usher, Alicia Keys, Nas, The Lox, and U2’s Bono.

Critics have christened the set one of the best of X’s career, which naturally presents the question of what the numbers saying.
