Queen Bee Lil Kim may have seen her latest effort, ‘9,’ royally ignored by music lovers, but it certainly doesn’t mean all is lost.

As we reported here, industry analysts predicted the set would shift less than 1,000 copies upon the conclusion of its inaugural sales tracking week.  Later confirmed via Billboard’s most recent update of its main album chart (October 22), the project’s first 7 days of sales failed to garner a figure high enough to be included among the tally’s top 200 sellers of the week.

However, where the LP may have not performed in the grand scheme, it certainly held its own categorically. See what we mean inside:

K. Michelle continues to speak up and out about the dangers of elective surgery after her health was compromised due to butt injections.

Using her platform to raise awareness (click here to read more), the R&B diva was most recently spotted on ‘Dr. Phil’ to provide details about her self-acceptance journey before and after the procedure (October 18).  Telling the audience deciding to voluntarily go under the knife was “the worst decision” of her life, Michelle also made a plea for people considering the same to perform in-depth research about the potential complications before committing.

‘Wrecking Ball’ beauty Miley Cyrus is doing some serious damage control after a recent Instagram live stream saw her lend some unsolicited and ill-received advice.  Sharing some screen time with new boo Cody Simpson, the songstress revealed:

“There are good men out there, guys. Don’t give up. You don’t have to be gay,” she said. “There are good people with d*cks out there. You just gotta find them. You gotta find a d*ck that’s not a d*ck…”

As if that’s not enough, she continued by stating:

“I always thought I had to be gay because I just thought, like, all guys were evil, but it’s not true,” she said. “There are good people out there that just happen to have d*cks. I’ve only ever met one.”

Yikes! After the comments caused an uproar, particularly from the singer’s LGBTQ+ fans (and their supporters), Cyrus took to Twitter to clarify her statement.  See it inside:

Christmas is coming early for fans of Ne-Yo as the singer-songwriter has unleashed his very first holiday album, ‘Another Kind of Christmas.’

The 11-track set sees the Grammy winner not only offer a handful of original yuletide tunes but also put his spin on soulful classics like Stevie Wonder’s ‘Someday At Christmas,’ Nat King Cole‘s ‘The Christmas Song,’ and Donny Hathaway‘s ‘This Christmas.’

Lil Kim‘s quest for comeback was bolstered by a well-executed promotional campaign launched by the fresh team of managers the icon enlisted to lead the next phase of her career.

Unfortunately, those who had hoped her new album ‘9′ would benefit from the managerial changes have learned that the worst has happened….at least commercially.

For, the set is reported to have sold under 1,000 copies in the US and become one of the lowest-selling albums in chart history after it failed to impact the Billboard 200 in its opening week.

Iggy Azalea‘s attempts to have Lizzo (born Melissa Jefferson) unseated from history books has proven futile as the burgeoning diva’s breakout hit, ‘Truth Hurts,’ has reclaimed the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100.

As we reported here, Azalea – courtesy of the 7 weeks her 2014 hit ‘Fancy’ held the top spot – currently holds the record for longest reign by a female rapper.  In an attempt to remain the sole occupant of the title, the ‘Started’ rapstress started encouraging fans to stream Jefferson’s competitors to remove her from #1.

Albeit briefly successful as Travis Scott dethroned Lizzo last week with his new hit ‘Highest in the Room’ (as we reported here), refreshed charts show it’s actually Lizzo who is now the highest – giving her hit ‘Hurts’ its 7th week at the top.  The move ties her with Azalea for the history making feat.
