In an age where so many R&B belles fail to shoot and release album artwork striking enough to attract passing trade, Ashanti gets it righter than right this time around…doing so for her new LP ‘Braveheart.’

For, perhaps in realising that it takes far more than an album’s material to turn a doubting shopper into a willing customer, the ‘Happy’ vocalist takes the breath right out of our lungs with a brand new cover shot in support of the aforementioned project, still set for an independent release later on this year.

After a lengthy break on the bench, ‘TGJ Replay’ is back!

Designed much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ segments, ‘Replay’ is That Grape Juice‘s newest retrospective quest to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday.

Unlike its ‘Rewind’ and ‘Vault’ predecessors, ‘Replay’ looks to dust off and showcase entire albums (and eras) from a library of pop and Urban pop music hits.  With the ten year mark swiftly approaching since its release, today’s ‘Replay’ goes back to ‘Afrodisiac’ – R&B beauty Brandy‘s 4th studio album:

The ladies of SWV are enjoying a renewed turn in the spotlight thanks to the success of their aptly titled WE tv series ‘SWV: Reunited’.

However, as is unravelling on the show and their interviews to promote it, the trio’s years away from music weren’t all filled smiles and laughter. Neither, so it seems, was the tail end of their initial run.

During a recent visit to the Bethenny show, Coko, Taj, and LeLee revealed that the fall out from their disbanding saw them depressed, finance starved, and emotionally lost.

In a testament to their global pull, Little Mix‘s new album ‘Salute’ marched its way to the top of iTunes US — hours before they’d given their first Stateside performance in support of it.

Preceded by single ‘Move, the LP (which is the group’s second) arrived on American shores today following top 5 success in the UK – where it was released last November.

Hitting the stage on Good Morning America moments ago, the ladies justified their buzz with an action-packed showing.

After a lackluster start, Shakira and Rihanna‘s new single ‘Can’t Remember To Forget You’ is beginning a steady ascend on the charts following the launch of its music video last week.

The racy clip has already amassed over 20 million views on Youtube, a fact that should grant the song a boost on the Billboard and iTunes tallies  – where it sits at #61 and #28 respectively.

Keeping the visual party going, the Roc Nation stars today unwrapped a behind the scenes look at the Joseph Kahn directed video.
