More often than not, Rihanna‘s vocals sound like she’s spinning in a washing machine. Yet, still, the star’s fans wait with bated breath for her annual albums.

With 2013 being the first year in her short, yet impressive career that she didn’t release a new LP, anticipation for new RiRi is currently at fever-pitch. Among her fans.

Looks like Ariana Grande is looking to heed pop rebel Miley Cyrus’ advice after all.

Cyrus once weighed in on Grande’s look and suggested she consider being a little less “sweet”, a sentiment reiterated throughout the industry as critics have weighed in and lent disparaging remarks on the ‘Baby I’ beauty’s fashion and hair.

With the most recent criticisms of her wardrobe at this year’s Grammys reportedly leaving the singer in tears, the pint-sized powerhouse recently shared with Boston’s ‘Mix 104.1′ she wish she had more of Cyrus’ ‘confidence’.

After lending one of the night’s most talked about performances at the 56th annual Grammy® awards, Katy Perry‘s ‘Dark Horse’ continues to gallop to the top of charts with co-star Juicy J at the helm.

Now, the chart’s current champion Pitbull – whose tune ‘Timber’ (ft. Ke$ha) has a tight grip on Billboard Hot 100’s #1 spot, takes to ‘Horse’ to offer a spicy, unofficial remix to the number.

Not since her debut era has Grammy-nominated rapstress Nicki Minaj seen her name listed as “feature artist” on so many songs at one time.  While her faithful Barbz await news on her forthcoming LP, their tastes of Minaj’s music are coming as accompaniment to some of today’s top rap numbers (i.e. Chris Brown‘s ‘Love More’, Nelly‘s ‘Get Like Me’,  YG’s “My N***a” and more).

Usually offering the most memorable contribution to what ever song she find’s feature, the ‘Va Va Voom’ vixen continues her tradition of track domination with a bossy and glossy remix to Young Thug’s “Danny Glover”.

‘Top Back’ rapper T.I. is clapping back at doomsayers who have ignited rumors that he and wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris are headed for splitsville.

Indeed, despite three successful series depicting themselves as very present lovebirds on VH1’s ‘T. I. & Tiny:  The Family Hustle’, rumors have swirled the net that Tip and the former Xscape singer are looking to escape their marriage after just three years (and 13 years overall of romance).

The song instantly became a #Vine regular upon its debut and put up-and-coming rapper YG on the map.  Now, the ‘Toot It & Boot It’ star enlists the help of rap’s A-list to assist with the remix of his top 20 hit ‘My N****’.

Taking to his home state of California, the Motion Family-directed clip features appearances from the likes of Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, and rap beauties Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea.

Last year saw Tamar Braxton break out in a major way. After becoming a household name in the reality TV arena, the youngest of the Braxton clan would go on to carve out a successful career in music – thanks largely to her album ‘Love And War’.

To celebrate the set’s recent Grammy nomination, the vocal powerhouse performed a special acoustic set at PEOPLE magazine’s pre-Grammy party.

For all its potential, Lady GaGa‘s ‘ARTPOP’ LP has been marred by a brand of “messiness” few thought possible.

Indeed, the project has yielded just one video (last August’s ‘Applause’), has barely been promoted beyond its November release, and has subsequently delivered sub-par sales. Add to this the departure of the star’s manager at  the most pivotal point of its cycle and an already muddy situation quickly becomes mucky.

It appears, however, that Mother Monster is looking to clean-up.

Notably silent of late, the outspoken star took to her website, LittleMonsters.com, to post the shot above and update fans on what they can expect in the coming weeks and months.
