rihanna-shakira-that-grape-juice-she-is-diva-1

Now sisters in the ‘ROC’, Rihanna and Shakira now find themselves housed by a mega label on course for world domination…at least as far as entertainment goes.

So, as to ensure the performer’s first release under their guidance avoids ‘Flopsville’, the label reportedly enlisted Rihanna to appear on the ‘Beautiful Liar‘s brand new single, beneficial for both parties.

Now watch ‘Timbre’ Rapper Pitbull confirm the duet during an interview with ‘Kidd Nation’, seemingly doing so without realising he was doing so.

Confused?

Justin-Timberlake-ThatGrapeJuice-2013

Despite the Platinum flavoured success of ‘The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2)’, one glaring fact remains – the LP has failed to yield hit singles in the way its processor has.

Indeed, while the first instalment of the album series generated smashes such as ‘Suit & Tie’ and ‘Mirrors’, the second has struggled to replicate the model – with singles ‘Take Back The Night’ and ‘TKO’ faring poorly in most territories. A fact some argue is due to the cooling of JT’s initial comeback buzz, while others point to ‘2 of 2’s point-black inferiority.

Whatever the case, it appears the 32-year-old is listening to the feedback. For, it has been revealed that the singer is currently toying with idea of re-visiting ‘1 of 1’ for future singles.

Undoubtedly at the forefront of R&B’s slow but steady reintroduction to Pop culture, Miguel continues to soar above many of his contemporaries by way of his ‘Adorn’ driven ‘Kaleidoscope Dream.’

So, it’s no surprise that he’s earned fresh praise from the Grammy committee this year, nominated for two awards one month before he attends the show’s 56th annual serving.

His reaction?

After a decade of marriage, actor Taye Diggs and Tony-award winning actress Idina Menzel confirm they are indeed headed for splitsville.  A spokesperson for the ‘Best Man Holiday’ star gave the following report:

Report via People:

“Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have jointly decided to separate at this time,” reps for the couple tell PEOPLE. “Their primary focus and concern is for their son. We ask that you respect their privacy during this time.”

Both 42, the two met as costars in the original production of the Broadway musical Rent in the mid-1990s. They married in 2003 and had a son, Walker, in 2009.

Recent years have seen Pink garner the acclaim she’s long-deserved, while this week brought with it Grammy nominations and Billboard Woman of the Year honors.

Yet, for all the mainstream love, one thing has remained ever-present – the singer’s “say like I feel it” m.o.

Case, point, on the red carpet during Billboard gala. When praised for inspiring new(er)comers such as Miley Cyrus and Lady GaGa, the Pop rebel interjected with quite the response. See what we mean below…

christina-aguilera-she-is-diva-that-grape-juice-that-grape-juice-tv

How Christina Aguilera feels about the rising number of Pop princesses’ using every but music to sell their music?

Unfortunately but unsurprisingly, the answer to that question is…sad.

For, after building her legacy on the foundation that is her voice, creative integrity and fearless drive, the entertainer has revealed that her time in the industry has seen her encounter many Pop belles who have lost their way- turning to cheap marketing ploys to keep their brands afloat.

Her words backstage at ‘The Voice’ below…

Underrated.

While the last few years have seen him do little to rectify this, we’d say that ‘Entourage’ craftsman Omarion is yet to receive the praise he deserves for pushing R&B to the forefront of Pop culture well over a decade ago.

However, upon the release of his latest studio effort ‘Care Package 2’, the seasoned performer took a number of steps towards receiving that acclaim, doing so via music that have seen him reemerge as one of his genre’s strongest competitors.

Now watch as he speaks to ‘Revolt TV’ on the release, and how its unique roll out has seen him win over a new generation of fans, below…

Kelly Rowland may already be moulding a new album, but that hasn’t halted her promotional push for ‘The X Factor’.

With the FOX hit almost at finale stage, the R&B siren stopped by The Arsenio Hall Show last night to plug her stint on the talent-search.

Ever versed in asking the questions folk really want answers to, the seasoned host quizzed the singer squarely on her time on the panel, the Beyonce component of ‘Dirty Laundry’, those engagement rumors, and more.
