He doesn’t get enough credit for it, but Trey Songz is one of the few R&B entertainers who can be sure to pull in decent numbers come release week.

While not enough is mould the hype behind those numbers into a Gold plaque, the charismatic performer is far more impressive on a sonic and commercial tip than most would say he is.

Only right then, that he turns up the heat on his forthcoming album with an interview which saw him discuss the possibility of a duet with ‘Should Be You’ singer Ne-Yo.

Little is known about this project, but what fans can be sure of is an era set to dwarf her eras of yesteryear on all fronts. Now, as many a critic weighs in on what they hope to hear on the release, we ask…

If Lana Del Rey‘s ‘Young & Beautiful’ taught us anything, it’s that the world has a lot to look forward to once she announces the release of her second studio album this year.

Far more radio ready than most of the jams on ‘Born To Die‘, ‘Beautiful’ is fast becoming the ‘Teenage Wasteland’ singer’s most celebrated hit, brought to life last week when she performed it at Latvia’s Arena Riga venue.

Gracing the venue two nights before the end of her ‘Paradise’ tour, her delivery of the song may wow some while boring others.

We loved it, so check it out and let us know if you agree below!

J.Cole fans rejoiced yesterday, when first day sales predictions revealed his ‘Born Sinner‘ was to sell no more than 200,000 units less than Kanye West‘s ‘Yeezus‘.

All flavours of epic, considering West’s celebrity and Cole’s standing as Hip Hop’s favorite underdog, this feat should hopefully see the album pushed far beyond heights attained by his ‘Cole World’ debut and go Platinum within the year.

So, perhaps as a thank you for their undying loyalty, Cole surprised his fans with a special guest at last night’s showing of the ‘Dollar & A Dream‘ Tour.

For all her shortcomings, there’s no denying Rihanna‘s music will go down in Pop history as some of best.

Sure, while this is no credit to her skill as a writer, her brand of high end Pop does make for impressive listening with or without the bells and whistles in place to push it.

With promoting her next triple styrofoam seller ‘Got Me F***ed Up’ seemingly at the bottom of her “to-do” list, rapstress Khia has launched a three day Twitter tirade against burgeoning pop icon Beyonce and her faithful ‘#Beyhive’.

Indeed, the back-to-back stings from some of the fanbase’s most outspoken members only acted as fuel for the ‘My Neck, My Back’ creator as she also threw jabs at Drake, Chris Brown and Amanda Bynes.

The series of attacks did see some of pop’s top performers earn favor from the chart absentee however, as the likes of Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga were all showered with praises.

But, as the tweets below reveal, that courtesy was not extended to a certain 17-time Grammy winner…
