As comebacks go, No Doubt‘s ‘Push & Shove’ came and went like a thief in the night.

The album’s performance (or lack-thereof) surprised many industry analysts who perceived the group’s popularity was intact despite a ten year hiatus.

In learning the hard way that artists can’t “disappear” and remain relevant these days, the Pop quad mapped out a world tour to re-engage and rebuild their live fanbase.

However, in a somewhat surprising move, the Gwen Stefani led outfit have announced that they have cancelled postponed hitting the road to work on a new album altogether.

And while we already reported that the group are recording new material, it appears the project is coming together much faster than anticipated.

The 32 year old took on hosting duties with actor Boris Kodjoe; but she might as well have strut the runway herself as she was serving pure supermodel on a platter. Work!

Check out Solange and British stars Mutya Keisha Siobhan posing it up at the Los Angeles launch of Topshop recently.

Seemingly from different worlds, the eclectic talents now have a common denominator in producer/songwriter Dev Hynes (pictured).

A Brit himself, Hynes helmed much of Solange’s critically acclaimed EP ‘True’ and is presently clocking up studio time with the ladies (who many will remember as the original Sugababes).

We’re almost wetting ourselves at the prospect of MKS serving up something along the lines of ‘Losing You’ or ‘Some Things Never Seem To F**king Work’ when their album arrives in stores later this year.

In other “Origibabes” news, Keisha and co have also clocked in studio time with the legendary Diane Warren during their current American trip.

Exciting times.
