They may have been sworn enemies in the past, but it seems Oprah and 50 Cent have put their differences aside for the sake of the former’s television network.

For this Sunday at 9pm, the mogul will interview the Rapper on her show ‘Next Chapter‘, which will see the pair journey to his grandmother’s house and discuss fatherhood, Hip Hop culture and his outlook on life.

Keep it locked on That Grape Juice for their conversation when it airs live on OWN.

For one reason or another, recent years have seen Rihanna‘s brand ‘tarnished’ with reports of what some might call ‘wild living’.

Yes, almost as if life has been imitating art, Ms. Fenty really has become the media’s ‘bad girl’, accused of putting drink and partying above her craft as a musician.

Now, in response a report by The Sun newspaper, she has struck out at the publication via Twitter.

It was set to mark her introduction to the world of television.

However, despite promising the launch of her very own ‘fashion show’ on the UK‘s Sky Living, Rihanna has pulled out the project- following claims her lifestyle is affecting her health.

Digital Spy reports:

“She has been hitting it hard for months. She smokes, drinks and parties hard on top of work commitments”.

During her stay in the UK, Rihanna was also scheduled to play Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend and headline next month’s Wireless festival. It is currently unknown if these gigs are also cancelled.

This sure to come as bad news for Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts who had been billed as the show’s host, guiding its contestants through weekly challenges.

The show’s cancellation follows the ‘We Found Love’ singer’s misfortune on the US Box Office, following the record breaking low suffered by her movie ‘Battleship’.

It now holds the record for being the lowest grossing movie for a flick with a budget of $200 million or more.

Peter ‘Drake Won’t Return My Calls’ Rosenberg and Funkmaster Flex may hate it, but it’s quite apparent that  US listeners can’t get enough of Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Starhships‘.

Her biggest smash since 2011’s ‘Superbass’, the Red One produced cut served as the lead single for her sophomore LP ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’, this week has seen it score quite the feat.

As of yesterday, it has spent its 16th week in the US Top Ten.

Since her dismissal from the X Factor , Cheryl Cole ‘nation’s sweetheart’ gimmick has-unfortunately for her- become all too easy to see through.

Indeed, if comments made on her performances on ‘The Voice UK’ and the Queen’s ‘Jubilee concert’ are anything to go by, the issue of Cheryl’s talent- and not aesthetic as had previously been the case- has taken centre stage, forcing many to question her validity as a singer.

Now she has hit back at these criticisms, insisting that she does perform her vocals live.

Continuing her bizarre fascination with the Jackson family, Oprah Winfrey has landed a sit-down interview with the King of Pop’s daughter Paris Jackson. The 14 year old reportedly opens up about coping with the loss of her dad and her career ambitions.

Set to air this Sunday, there’s a certain irony that it’ll feature on Oprah’s Next Chapter. For, it seems the former talk show host can’t move on from the one she’s been stuck on for 3 years – Michael Jackson. A man she wasn’t the most endorsing of in life. Yet, in death, is adamant on hyper-embracing everyone around him – some three years after his passing.

Needless to say, it’s doubtful this is anything more than a cheap stunt to spike ratings for Winfrey’s struggling TV channel, OWN. A channel she admits hasn’t had to the best start.

********

Granted we’re admitted hypocrites (in that, much like everyone else, we will be watching this), this further highlights a side to Ms. Winfrey that isn’t as warm. Why not leave the girl to enjoy her childhood – regardless of whether or not it was Oprah or Team Jackson who pitched the feature? Surely, O’s “enlightened” state would know that to be the best cause of action for girl who ultimately needs to develop out of the spotlight before stepping into it – given her lineage. Sigh…
