Thanksgiving this year was particularly kind to Beyonce fans, who’re no doubt appreciative of her newly released ‘Live at Roseland’ DVD.

And while that set arrived in stores on Monday, next week sees the release of beefier collection ‘Elements of 4: Live at Roseland’, which along with the New York shows, features a video anthology, as well as never before seen footage. Included are behind the scenes looks at the clips for ‘Countdown’ and ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ – the former being shot when the singer was 6 months pregnant.

In a welcomed display, true vocalist Florence Welch lent her signature stylings to that of another true vocalist, Grammy winning vocal less Rihanna, when she tackled ‘Take Care’ – the title track from Torontoian rapper Drake‘s #1 album.  The cut in its original form has already won fans over, but what happens when a person with discernible talent drops her voice over the two autotune abusers?

Many of you will remember Cherri V from her soaring set on The Splash earlier this year. Shortly after, the stunning Londoner was tapped to serve as the opening act on Jessie J‘s critically praised ‘Heartbeart Tour’. Undoubtedly in a bid to drive up sales of her 10th studio album ‘My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act I)’, Mary J. Blige took ‘Mr. Wrong’ right to The Today Show’s Toyota Concert Series.  While Drake, the track’s guest feature, was elsewhere lending ‘iconic status’ to undeserving divas, the real icon was performing by her lonesome (and reiterating while she is ever-so deserving of such title).

For all the critical acclaim heaped on Soul star Solange, the 25 year old has seen commercial success largely elude her. However, given the global dominance of her sister, as well as the genre she peddles, this was always an inevtiability.

Harper’s Bazaar, however, have recognised her efforts, naming the ‘T.O.N.Y’ singer as one of their favourite young talents. We certainly concur and can’t wait for Ms. Knowles’ third studio album – which is confirmed to arrive in stores next year.

Burgeoning pop royal Lady Gaga invited fans into her highly anticipated ‘A Very Gaga Thanksgiving’ special tonight on ABC.  The show, which featured interviews and performances of numbers from a holiday EP and her famed ‘Born This Way’ album, was undoubtedly a ratings winner due in great part to the singer’s ever-faithful fanbase.

While many-an-outlet has seen Gaga lend live treatments to her sophomore album’s forthcoming fifth single ‘Marry The Night’, its official accompanying visual has yet to debut.  With photos and an already viral teaser making its rounds on the net, the ‘Edge of Glory’ entertainer ended her Thanksgiving special with something else for fans to feast on – a second teaser of the song.

While his latest album ‘King of Hearts’ may have not won over many record buyers heart, ‘Shes All I Want For Christmas’ could change that.  Does Lloyd win with this winter track?  You decide:
