At long last Toni Braxton‘s critically acclaimed album ‘Libra’ has finally been unleashed on streaming services sixteen years after its initial arrival.

Home to jams such as ‘Please,’ ‘Trippin,’ and the Rich Harrison-produced ‘Take This Ring,’ the 2005 LP has remarkably been absent from the digital landscape.

Long demanded, the project was released on Blackground Records. As such, it was caught up in the chaos surrounding the label – which notably was at the center of high-profile spats with the likes of JoJo, Timbaland, and Tank.

Kacey Musgraves is bringing the heat.

The music superstar opened season 47 of ‘Saturday Night Live’ with performances of her songs ‘Justified’ and ‘Camera Roll.’

Both songs are lifted from Musgraves’ most recent album, ‘Star-Crossed,’ which opened to the best sales week of her career (as we reported here).

The 15-track project included contributions from Ian Fitchuk, Daniel Tashian, and Violeta Parra. It explored Musgraves’ mental state following her divorce from Ruston Kelly.

This was Musgraves’ second appearance as a musical guest on the show. She previously was the musical guest in 2018 before the release of her acclaimed ‘Golden Hour’ album.
