Doja Cat continues to flex her versatility.

Earlier this month joining fellow femcees City Girls on their new tune, ‘P*ssy Talk’ (as we reported here), now the 24-year-old ‘Say So’ star is showing off her vocal prowess on rising U.K. Pop star Anne-Marie‘s latest joint, ‘To Be Young.’

An emo-anthemic ode to being youth, restlessness, and recklessness, the tune acts as the second single from Anne-Marie’s highly anticipated sophomore album (due later this year).

“Take a punch, get back up,” she sings in the chorus. “Act a fool, don’t give a f*ck. We’re all a mess, but then I guess this is what it feels like to be young.”

Doja Cat has had enough!

A month after taking to social media to address rumors that she engaged in racist and homophobic behavior in online chat rooms (as we reported here), the 24-year-old is still being pelted with criticism for the incident.

After one commenter called her ‘ugly’ and another branded her a ‘White supremacist,’ the ‘Say So’ hitmaker launched into a 9-minute tirade to clap back.

Once again asking for her fans’ forgiveness for their disappointment in the original incident, she also schooled the critics on why she nor her chatroom friends are racist.

Doja Cat isn’t letting scandal squash her ambition.

As widely reported, the rising rapper found herself at the center of quite the storm when it was revealed she participated in chat room sessions with questionable groups and had made a series of problematic tweets.

Looking to power past the drama, Doja has teamed with the likes of The Weeknd and the City Girls for fresh collaborations.

And while it remains to be seen whether she’s been commercially impacted by the melee, she’s clapped back at her critics saying: “I’m here to stay!”

Despite facing cancellation for surfaced videos that allegedly depict her making racist and homophobic comments (as we reported here), Doja Cat‘s breakthrough hit – ‘Say So’ – remains a fixture atop many Billboard charts.

Unmoved from the Hot 100’s top 5 since pouncing to #1 in May (click here to read more), the tune actually rose on the ranking this week thanks to continued wins at Pop radio.

Amassing another 88 million impressions over the latest tracking period, the chart’s most recent update reports the Dr. Luke-produced bop rules the Pop Radio hitlist for yet another week (bringing her total reign to 5 weeks).

Despite being a convicted sex offender and panned cultural appropriator,  Tekashi 6ix9ine is promoting the cancellation of fellow chart-topping rapper Doja Cat for allegedly committing similar crimes.

As the ‘Say So’ hitmaker finds herself embroiled in controversy stemming from her frequent appearances in a virtual chat room many have said promoted racism and homophobia, she took to Instagram to defend herself via video statement (as we reported here).
