“…when I get on the pole people call me wh*re, but when [FKA] twigs gets on the pole, it’s art.”

Stinging words from Lana Del Rey who – days after being slammed for commentary against Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, and Kehlani that many deemed racist – continues to campaign on social media in her own defense.

Previously relying on worded Instagram posts to combat the critics, Del Rey most recently uploaded a video to express her disappointment with the response to her openness.  During the 6 minute rant, the GRAMMY nominee revealed:

“The very first time I decide to tell you anything about my life…200,000 hateful, spiteful comments come in, my phone number leaked, and comments like, ‘You f*cking white bitch’. It’s the opposite of the spirit of an advocate…but it’s not gonna stop me. Period.”

That’s not all she said.  Look inside to hear her double down for the umpteenth time about her refusal to apologize:

Doja Cat has broken her silence.

As widely reported, the rising star saw her light dimmed by leaked clips of her participating in a chatroom with alleged racists. She also was targeted for some of her own verbiage during said videos too.

The narrative snowballed and saw many weigh-in with other alleged intel.

All of which trended in earnest on Twitter.

Now, Doja herself has issued a statement on the matter. Her words below…

Merely hours after first teasing Doja Cat‘s revamp of ‘After Hours’ tune, ‘In Your Eyes,’ it appears The Weeknd is eyeing a midnight release.

As of time reported, the Max Martin-produced cut has already reached a Hot 100 peak of #16 thanks to its high octane music video (which can be seen here).  But, now it appears the singer (born Abel Tesfaye) is looking to push the track to even higher heights by enlisting Doja for the assist.

Megan Thee Stallion fans rejoiced when the femcee tapped fellow Houston hitmaker Beyoncé to feature on her megahit, ‘Savage.’

Despite blasting to the top of iTunes and Apple Music tallies mere hours after its release, however, the J. White Did It-produced cut wasn’t exactly a shoo-in for #1 on next week’s Billboard Hot 100 as stiff competition came in the form of another diva duet – Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Say So.’

Mid-week predictions may have suggested Stallion and Queen Bey had the win in the bag given their domination of streaming outlets (as we reported here), but updated figures suggest ‘Say’ still has a chance to top the Hot 100 due to an oft-overlooked component of data calculated to determine chart placements:  radio.

‘Say So’ continues to prove itself just what the doctor Luke ordered for rising rapstress Doja Cat.

Having spent the last 6 years building buzz for her animated and often eccentric Rap offerings, the 24-year-old finally broke through with the 2019 ‘Hot Pink’ tune.

Now, less than three weeks after becoming her first single to hit the Hot 100’s top 10 (as we reported here), ‘Say’ – five months after its release – has been recognized by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as the femcee’s first Platinum hit by her lonesome.
