The 61st Annual Grammy Awards hasn’t even officially kicked off yet and it’s already provided many a notable moment courtesy of its pre-show.

Ahead of the actual telecast, the presentation of major awards, and the line of anticipated show-stopping performances from Fantasia, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Camila Cabello, Janelle Monae, and more, Ariana Grande, Beyonce, and H.E.R. have already “walked away” (as some are not in attendance) with the show’s biggest star – the golden gramophone.

Grammy nominated songstress Marsha Ambrosius is headed to a city near you on the recently announced ‘NYLA’ tour in support of her latest album of the same name.

Set to kick off January 27th in Las Vegas, the Stateside jaunt – scheduled to feature fellow Grammy-nominated R&B songbird Elle Varner on select dates – will touch every corner of the country including Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Dallas, Atlanta, St. Louis, Chicago, and more before wrapping up on March 17th in Baton Rouge.

Tiffany Haddish appears to be just what the doctor ordered for MTV as the channel has had a heavily documented number of viewership mishaps since its late 2016 rebranding.

With the revamp of its annual Movie Awards, christened the ‘TV & Movie Awards’ as of 2017, the former music channel enlisted the help of the ‘Girls Trip’ star to assist with breathing new life into the franchise.  The investment proved lucrative.

After soaring to the top of R&B charts with his ‘Skywalker’-led fourth album, ‘War & Leisure,’ soulful crooner Miguel tackled the top of 2018 with the ‘War & Leisure’ North American tour in its support.

With demands from his faithful fanbase pouring in from cities neglected from that outing, the Grammy-winner took to social media today to announce yet another road trip in support of ‘War.’  The trek – titled ‘The Ascension Tour’ – will see Miggy bring his bevy of hits to the likes of Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Dallas, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and more before wrapping up in Seattle, Wash. on September 28th.
