‘Death to 2020’ – the forthcoming Netflix documentary (more like mockumentary actually) from ‘Black Mirror’ producers Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones – is looking to provide the comedic relief we all need as this eventful year draws to a close.

Putting a hilarious spin on some of the circumstances and situations that unfolded over the last 12 months, the special features interviews and appearances from the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Hugh Grant, Lisa Kudrow, Kumail Nanjiani, Tracey Ullman, Samson Kayo, Leslie Jones, Diane Morgan, Cristin Milioti, Joe Keery and Laurence Fishburne.

ACADEMY and EMMY Award-nominated actress Taraji P Henson continues to use her position to shine a spotlight on the importance of mental health (and related conversations) in the African American community, a stance underscored by her Facebook Watch special series, ‘Peace of Mind with Taraji.’

After welcoming fellow film and TV star Gabrielle Union for its kickoff episode, the platform’s sophomore showing (December 21) featured GRAMMY-nominated songstress Tamar Braxton (as we reported here).

Waxing honest about her highly publicized suicide attempt, depression, the pressures of being in a famous family, and so much more, Braxton elaborated on the circumstances that led to the mental health crisis that nearly claims – but has certainly changed – her life.

The chart tug-of-war between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj continues – even down to the last full week of the year.

Minaj – the first woman in music history to amass at 100 appearances on the tally – held the title for ‘most Hot 100 hits among women’ for two years before it was broken by the entries of tunes found aboard Swift’s surprise 2020 set, ‘Folklore’ (click here to read more).

While Nicki eventually snatched the honor back in November when her hit, ‘What that Speed About?,’ zoomed into the top 40 (click here to read more), her renewed ownership of the record only lasted a month before Taylor took it again.

For many, season 5 of the ‘Real Housewives Of Potomac’ has proven to be its most epic season yet!

A ratings success, the Bravo show has proven increasingly popular during its latest outing – thanks largely to its super juicy story arcs.

This Sunday sees the third and final part of the season 5 reunion special air, with the ladies addressing a number of hyper hot topics. And guess what? It’s an expanded 90 minute episode!

Ed Sheeran is finally back.

The music superstar has returned with his new song ‘Afterglow,’ which is the first offering from the 29-year-old’s fifth studio album.

Additionally, the track serves as the first new music Sheeran has released since his ‘No. 6 Collaborations Project’ in 2019, which featured the likes of Cardi B, Bruno Mars, and more.

Sheeran first teased the song on Instagram December 21, where he captioned the post:

“A Christmas present.”

It turns out the present was a song and it has arrived just in time for the holidays.
