With a career as towering as Steve McQueen‘s, each new project brings with it ample expectation. And his latest effort, ‘Small Axe,’ has not disappointed.

Met with rapturous applause worldwide, the anthology series is comprised of five films – each of which share compelling stories of West Indian immigrants in London during the 1960s and 1970s.

To bring the stories to life, McQueen tapped a talented blend of names including John Boyega, Letitia Wright, Malachi Kirby, and Micheal Ward.

Praised for its raw, nuanced, and human storytelling, it’s made for a magnetic weekly watch on BBC One (and Amazon’s Prime Video in the US).

Ahead of the latest instalment, That Grape Juice‘s Jacqueline Shepherd sat down with McQueen (who created and directed ‘Axe’) to discuss his goals with the project and the future he hopes it inspires.

It may be the holidays, but Little Mix aren’t slowing down with the push for their new album ‘Confetti.’

Their latest stop was Strictly Come Dancing, where they belted out the LP’s lead single ‘Break Up Song.’

Given that the track originally premiered back in the Spring (at the onset of the global health crisis), the ladies weren’t afforded the opportunity the ability to perform it – as their campaign had progressed to follow-up offerings by the time the TV sphere returned to some semblance of normality.

Still, as the age old adage goes, good things come to those who wait. Because, the Pop ensemble finally delivered a televised live rendition.

With member Jesy recovering from illness, watch Perrie, Jade, and Leigh-Anne take vocal flight after the jump…

Ahead of the latter, That Grape Juice‘s Patrick Buchanan caught up with the 33-year-old star.
