Kirk Franklin is speaking up and out after audio of his verbal altercation with his eldest son Kerrion went viral.

As reported, the ‘Stomp’ performer sounded like he wanted to do exactly that to his offspring – who leaked the audio of their expletive-heavy disagreement.

Now, in a somber video, the star has issued an apology.

He also added further context, revealing that his son’s relationship with the family has been “toxic” for some time and that the Franklins therapist was also on a portion of the call that conveniently wasn’t shared.

Sheryl Underwood has broken her silence on Sharon Osbourne‘s shocking outburst on The Talk.

As reported, the 68-year-old came under fire and brimstone when she was quizzed about her support for Piers Morgan, who sensationally “left” his role on Good Morning Britain after making remarks about Meghan Markle that many believe to be rooted in racism.

Osbourne’s defensive stance during the segment (which included her demanding that Underwood not cry because she is the one “who should be crying”) went viral.

The fall-out has been thick and fast, with Osbourne issuing an apology to the Black community (but then claiming to have been “blindsided”) and CBS launching a formal investigation.

Now Underwood is speaking up and out. Her words, which came during an interview with Steve Harvey, below…

If audio from an alleged leaked phone call is to be believed, Gospel legend Kirk Franklin meant it when he promised the stomp, the whole stomp, and nothing but the stomp – this time to his estranged eldest son, Kerrion.

Nearly three years after Kerrion, who is also a musician, first took to Instagram to accuse his ‘sneaky’ father of ‘trying to kill him’ (click here to read more), he has returned to the platform with alleged proof of his dad’s hostility.

The evidence came courtesy of a recorded phone call that appears to show the ‘Melodies from Heaven’ hitmaker spewing a profanity-fueled rant toward the younger Franklin – even threatening to put his ‘foot in the a**’ and ‘break the neck’ of the 33-year-old.

That’s not all he’s accused of saying.  Hear the audio inside and see how Twitter’s responding to the hoopla.

However, unlike our other segments – Retro Rewind, TGJ Replay, and From The Vault – The Pop Stop is the most in-depth look at Pop songs that may have flown under the radar over the last week that you should know, rather they be from music’s biggest stars or those on the rise.

This week, we want to highlight cuts from Nick Jonas, CHIKA, Watts & Khalid, and January Jane.

After initially issuing an apology to the Black community for a shocking outburst on The Talk, Sharon Osbourne is now claiming to have been “blindsided” by her co-hosts.

As reported, the TV maven was consumed with fury in defense of her friend Piers Morgan, whose dismissal of Meghan Markle‘s suicidal feelings saw him “leave” popular UK morning show Good Morning Britain. A development that took place against the backdrop of over 41,000 formal complaints about his conduct to UK regulator Ofcom.

Markle’s claims were unpacked during her and Prince Harry’s seismic interview with Oprah Winfrey and highlighted ill-treatment the couple says was racially charged. Specifically as relates to The Talk, it ignited a conversation about whether Morgan’s shocking dismissal was rooted in racism.

Osbourne’s fiery eruption, which is now a viral moment, has snowballed into a story in and of itself.

And now the host is adding fresh chapters.
