With his May 20-released debut album ‘Chapter & Verse’ seeing rave reviews penned by R&B critics and lovers alike, J. Brown is undoubtedly hoping the next chapter in the LP’s story is a rise to the top of the genre’s chart.

Although she’s still riding the wave of success afforded courtesy of her breakout single ‘Big Energy,’ rapper Latto has been doing her fair share of sharing the spotlight in recent weeks.

Not even a week after being unveiled as the assistant on the NEIKED and Anne-Marie single ‘I Just Called,’ the 23-year-old hitmaker was called on by rising Quality Control star Lakeyah to guest on the new song ‘Mind Yo Business.’

Sampling the 2001 party-starter ‘Get Crunked Up’ (by Iconz), Latto and Lakeyah trade verses over the Cardiak & Paul Cabbin-produced bop about keeping the haters and bad boys in their places.

“First off b*tch mind yo business / Bad b*tch everyday like Christmas / Attitude on f*ck you pay me / It take more than a Bentley to date me,” Lakeyah opens on the hard-hitting track.

Mo’Nique fallout with D.L. Hughley has played out oh so publicly and the reverberating effects continue.

As reported, the comedienne sunk into her fellow comic over a contract dispute relating to the headlining spot.

And while much of the headlines since have centered on the back and forth between Mo’ and Hughley – who has been unrelenting with his clap backs, Steve Harvey has officially entered the chat. With good reason too.

See, during her on-stage rant in Detroit, the 54-year-old included Harvey in a collection of names that she branded “c**ns” for weighing in on her fallout with Netflix.

The pair famously clashed during a 2019 appearance on Harvey’s talk show in which he explained that he felt she’s navigated her various feuds in the wrong way.

After once again being verbally attacked by Mo, the 65-year-old has weighed in on the latest drama.

Selecting ‘Puffin on Zootiez’ as the next ‘I Never Liked You’ track to get the visual treatment, the hit rapper lifted the lid on the Harley Astorga-directed clip Thursday (June 2).

“G5 the flight, n*gga, can’t even see me / I’m way outta here, I’m too far in the sky / Hermès ashtray to dump my ashes / B*tch so pretty, look better than Cassie / Puffin’ on zooties and she callin’ me daddy,” he spits on the braggadocious track.
