Despite not delivering her long-awaited new album, ‘Trenches,’ on its original November 20-due date (as we reported here), Monica has still been hitting the promo trail in support its title track.

Launched in August (on the same day as her history-making #VERZUZ battle with Brandy), the single shot straight to the top of real-time sales tallies thanks to the exposure it received on the platform – a response that increased calls for its official music video (which didn’t arrive until November 25).

Better late than never, the cinematic clip has already received critical acclaim for Mo showing off her acting chops and reintroducing fans to her alter ego #Goonica.

While the global health crisis has forced many-an-artist to go back to the drawing board, Jhené Aiko is arguably at the height of her career thanks to the ongoing success of her third studio album, ‘Chilombo.’

Already one of the best-selling R&B efforts of the year, its status as such was only elevated over the summer after its deluxe edition arrived.

Unlike a number of her Urban counterparts, Aiko – in lieu of the postponed ‘Chilombo’ tour – has not been shy about lifting music videos in support of LP.   Across its standard and deluxe edition, over 10 of the songs have gotten an official (or animated) music video – the latest being the Fisticuffs-produced ‘Born Tired.’

At this point, the boys of BTS should be all too used to seeing the phrase “history-making” aligned with their name.

As we reported Sunday (November 29), the group’s fifth Korean-language studio album – ‘BE’ – not only topped the Billboard 200 but also put the septet in history books for a number of accomplishments including becoming the first K-Pop group to score five #1 albums in the United States, fastest accrual of five Billboard 200 chart-toppers for any group of the Soundscan era, and first group (second act overall) to score two #1 albums this year alone.

Now, they’re making history on the Billboard Hot 100 side as well.  See how inside:
